How do I order Biophysical product?
You can order Biophysical assessments by calling a Biophysical representative at 1-866-968-0250. During the call, we will take your order, and set up your account. You will then be contacted by a Biophysical representative within the next 48 hours to set up an appointment for your blood draw at your home, office or convenient draw station. Some states require a physician order — we can discuss this with you over the phone.
Can I order Biophysical assessments directly or does my doctor need to order it for me?
Ordering the Biophysical directly depends on which state you live in. In most states you can order Biophysical without a physician's order.
How much does Biophysical products cost?
- The cost of BiophysicalCheck is at a new introductory price of $995.
- The cost of Biophysical250 is $3,400 for all services.
- The cost of BiophysicalYou is at $1,495.
Are the Biophysical assessments covered by insurance?
Insurance claims typically do not cover the Biophysical assessments. However, in most cases, insurance will pay for the secondary tests performed by your physician if certain biomarkers are abnormal and additional testing is warranted.
Many people can also use the savings in their Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account(HSA) to pay for the assessment. We accept only direct payment from the client for this test.
What Forms of Payment do you Accept?
Biophysical accepts payment by VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. Payments in full are expected at time of purchase.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are granted only up until 24 hours prior to the time of the blood draw. All sales are final beyond that time.
Where are the Biophysical assessments available?
Currently, the Biophysical assessments are available in all 48 contiguous states of the United States, Canada, the UK and Japan.
Testing Procedure
How much blood is required to perform the assessment?
Biophysical assessments requires only a sample (approximately 2 tablespoons) of blood to perform this comprehensive assessment. By comparison, it would require more than a unit of blood and a $1,000s using a normal lab to approach the level of detailed analysis delivered by Biophysical assessments.
How soon will I receive my Biophysical assessment results?
You-and, in some states, your physician-will receive your Biophysical test results in approximately 18 - 19 business days following your blood draw.
How are the results delivered to me?
The Biophysical250 and the BiophysicalYou report are beautifully bound documents and will ship to you over-night. The BiophysicalCheck report will be delivered to you and/or your physician (depending on your state's requirement) as a password-protected document sent to you electronically.
How is the privacy of my personal results maintained?
Protecting your privacy is of utmost importance to Biophysical. To ensure that your Biophysical results are protected, we will deliver your report to you and/or your physician (depending on your state's requirement) as a password-protected document sent to you electronically.

Should I consult with my doctor before initiating this program?
Our research indicates that a large percentage of people believe it is important for them to actively manage their own health. Taking the Biophysical assessment is one way to ensure that you are making the right choices to maintain a high degree of wellness.
We encourage all of our clients to talk to a personal physician about their results, and our physicians welcome the opportunity to consult with your personal physicians in advance of taking the test as well as following the assessment. We also have a significant amount of clinical information on our website to help physicians learn more about Biophysical.
If my Biophysical test results show that I have biomarkers out of range, what does that mean?
If one or more of your biomarkers is outside the normal range — which is not unusual — you should share your Biophysical test results with your doctor to find out what next steps he or she may recommend.
Where can I go for further clarification of my Biophysical results?
If you have further questions on your results, we recommend that you visit with your physician.
Can my doctor discuss my Biophysical results with a Biophysical physician?
Yes. Our team of physicians welcomes the opportunity to consult with personal physicians both in advance of and following the assessment — assuming the permission of our client. We also have significant clinical information on our website to help physicians learn more about Biophysical.
Biophysical Technology
What is a biomarker?
Everything that goes on in your body is manifested in the blood. Biomarkers are proteins and chemicals found in the bloodstream — like cholesterol, PSA, estrogen and glucose — and act as indicators for what is going on in your body. Biomarkers that are either elevated or are found outside if their normal range are terrific tools in helping to assess if you have a possible diseases or disorder. In addition, biomarkers are also great indicators to see if your current treatment for a specific disease is being effective.
How does testing biomarkers help determine how healthy I am?
Everything that goes on in your body is manifested in the blood. Biomarkers (blood-based indicators) provide an actual view of what is occurring in your body. By measuring key biomarkers in the Biophysical assessments, you can get a good snapshot of your current health and to see if you are aging healthfully.
Is biomarker testing similar to genetic testing?
Biomarker testing is not the same as genetic testing. Genetic testing indicates your predisposition for a certain disease or condition, whereas biomarker testing indicates what is currently occurring in your body. Biophysical assesses biomarkers are actually present in your blood, which can provide more insight into important health conditions that may be present and provide a good snapshot of your current health status.

How can Biophysical test for so many biomarkers from a single sample of blood?
Biophysical has exclusive access to technology developed by our sister company, Rules Based Medicine. This technology allows us to analyze 100s of blood tests, very accurately, in a very short period of time, at a relatively low cost, and using only a couple of tablespoons of blood. This is comparison to other labs that require one tube of blood to perform one test — a much more costly process that also requires a lot more blood.
Why is analyzing multiple biomarkers important?
Each individual biomarker provides important information in and of itself. The body though is made up of a comprehensive network of various systems. Many diseases will affect a number of these systems simultaneously. Our comprehensive analysis allows a physician to see if multiple biomarkers are elevated from these various systems — thus, providing a stronger overall indication of a specific disease or disorder. We refer to this process of analyzing multiple biomarkers simultaneously as stacking.
Can a Biophysical assessment diagnose disease?
Biophysical assessments are not a diagnostic test, but assesses biochemical changes in the body that frequently correlate with specific diseases. Your personal physician is the one who can make the actual diagnosis of a specific disease.

The Biophysical250 includes concierge services such as drawing your blood sample at a convenient location for you, having one of our doctors providing an hour long consultation to discuss your report with you and a well-organized, easy-to-understand document that explains your laboratory results.
What will Biophysical250 tell me?
Annual physical examinations typically evaluate only a limited number of health conditions. Depending on your health history, the blood tests ordered as part of an annual physical generally measure only a few basic biomarkers. Biophysical250 delivers a more comprehensive assessment of an individual's blood chemistry, and may indicate potentially serious medical conditions before symptoms appear. Bear in mind that a high level of fitness does not always indicate a high level of health. Recent studies have shown that even outwardly healthy people can discover the initial stages of serious problems by taking this assessment.

How are the tests different?
Biophysical250 is the most comprehensive health assessment available on the market today. It simultaneously assesses over 250 biomarkers used by 12 different medical specialties. The additional markers tested by Biophysical250 can help indicate the presence of a variety of diseases and conditions, often before symptoms appear and when treatment options are the widest and most successful.
In addition, Biophysical250 includes a complete medical history prior to taking the test and a private, in-depth phone consultation with a Biophysical physician.
By comparison, BiophysicalCheck is a subset of the Biophysical250. It measures more than 70 of the most important biomarkers that are indicative of cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, thyroid disease, iron disorders, and digestive disorders.
How is BiophysicalCheck different from BiophysicalYou?
BiophysicalCheck is a more comprehensive health assessment in terms of looking for indicators of key diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, thyroid disease, iron deficiencies and stomach disorders.
By comparison, BiophysicalYou measures more than 60 biomarkers that can help provide insights into how healthful you are aging. It does so by assessing the state of your endocrine function, metabolism, cardiovascular status, liver, kidney and skeletal muscle function, vitamin and mineral levels, inflammatory condition, complete blood count.
