About BiophysicalCheck

Overview

BiophysicalCheck is a panel of biomarkers (chemicals and proteins in your blood) associated with a broad spectrum of conditions, from more common ones such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer, to the uncommon and difficult to diagnose conditions such as celiac disease and autoimmune disease. BiophysicalCheck is designed for people who may not feel sick, but want to take a proactive approach to their health, before symptoms and chronic health consequences set in. As is typical in disease development, indications of disease show up in the blood before the person starts experiencing symptoms. By recognizing these early changes, a person can take action to avoid or minimize the impact of the disease.

BiophysicalCheck utilizes a full complement of established biomarkers associated with autoimmune diseases (lupus, scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis, antiphospholipid syndrome and more), diabetes, thyroid disease, blood-based conditions (anemia, hemochromatosis, von Willebrand's disease, IgA deficiency, IgE level), nutritional deficiencies (calcium, folate, vitamin B12, vitamin D), diseases affecting major organs such as the lungs, digestive system, kidneys and the liver. It also evaluates hepatitis B and hepatitis C, two growing health issues.

A key component of BiophysicalCheck is the baseline evaluation of biomarkers associated with cancer and cardiovascular disease. BiophysicalCheck includes biomarkers commonly associated with cancers such as colon, liver, breast, ovarian, prostate and pancreatic cancer. The cardiovascular evaluation tests for critical inflammation biomarkers and several lipid parameters, including lipid particle size and count, which is the ground-breaking science used by the best cardiovascular institutes to evaluate and treat the risk for heart attack, stroke and other vascular diseases.

BiophysicalCheck is part of an Annual Monitoring Program

BiophysicalCheck is the first step in a yearly health-monitoring program. It is designed to take a look across a broad spectrum of diseases to identify health issues. Once relevant health issues, if there are any, have been identified and addressed, the program moves to a yearly monitoring phase. The yearly monitoring focuses on the two disease categories that cause the most disease and death in the United States: cancer and cardiovascular disease. Both cancer and cardiovascular disease are most effectively treated when discovered early. Biophysical offers BiophysicalCA/CV, an evaluation of cardiovascular and cancer related biomarkers, to complement the BiophysicalCheck.
