The BiophysicalYou Process
Private. Convenient. Comprehensive.
1. Your private and personalized BiophysicalYou service can be ordered by mail, or by phone by calling (866.968.0250). In most states, a doctor's order is not required.*
2. Read the Informed Consent Form, which summarizes the BiophysicalYou assessment procedure and ensures that you understand its benefits and limitations. You will sign this form when your blood is drawn.
3. You will be contacted to schedule an appointment to have your blood drawn (approximately 2 tablespoons) at your home, office or another convenient location (including blood draw stations). Blood draws are scheduled Monday through Thursday and take approximately 15 minutes.
4. Your blood then undergoes extensive laboratory analysis.
5. A Biophysical medical team reviews your results and notes those results that are out of reference ranges.
6. A report of your results is sent to you (and your physician, if required in your state) by U.S. Priority Mail (3-5 days) at no charge. The entire process usually takes about 15 business days from the time we receive your blood sample. You may request Federal Express overnight delivery for an extra charge of $35.
Regardless of the findings, we strongly recommend that you discuss the results of the BiophysicalYou with your personal physician. Your physician can help put the results in perspective for any further evaluation, tracking or treatment.
It is important to note that physicians associated with BiophysicalYou will not make a diagnosis based on the results. The results are not intended to be used as a sole means for clinical diagnosis or patient management decisions.
* Two tablespoons of blood is equal to approximately 30 cc or 29.58 ml. Five tubes of blood are collected for the BiophysicalYou assessment for a total of 33.5 ml, which is approximately 2.27 tablespoons.
** Your Biophysical assessment report is intended to be used for health information only. Your report is not diagnostic of any disease or condition and should not be used to self-diagnose or self treat. We encourage every individual to share the results with their personal physician. Only a physician can interpret these results for you, recommend additional testing, recommend treatment and lifestyle changes and/or use the information as a baseline from which future test results can be compared.
No employee of The Biophysical Corporation (Biophysical) will provide individuals who purchase a Biophysical health assessment with a diagnosis of any disease or health condition or any advice regarding follow-up. Biophysical will not recommend any specific follow-up, further evaluation, therapy or treatment based on Biophysical health assessment results.
Communication with medical professionals employed by Biophysical about Biophysical health assessments or the results of these assessments do not establish a physician-patient relationship.
Out-of-range results do not necessarily indicate a health problem, just as in-range results do not indicate the absence of disease. Please consult with your physician if you are experiencing any symptoms or have any health concerns.
Biophysical assessments do not diagnose any diseases or health conditions and have not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
